Thank you for your interest in the MSHS Program at CSU.

The M.S. in Health Sciences is a post-professional degree designed to prepare individuals for emerging leadership roles in the rapidly changing health care environment and to enhance opportunities for advancement in clinical, educational and administrative areas. Emphasis is on independent, self-directed learning and the development of diverse roles.

This program is intended for practicing health care professionals or those with an undergraduate degree in a health-related area (e.g. Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences) with plans to pursue a career working in health and human services settings. Courses are primarily offered online or in the evenings to accommodate the needs of working professionals.

The program requires the completion of 36 credits: five core courses (15 credits), three courses in an area of Health Science emphasis (9 credits), three electives (9 credits) and a capstone research project or thesis (3 credits).
