CSU Presents Opera la Carte - Scenes From More Than 15 Operas

Friday, April 29 at 8 p.m.

The Cleveland State University Department of Music presents Opera la Carte, with students performing scenes from more than 15 operas and American musicals. The performance begins at 8 p.m., Friday, April 29 in Drinko Recital Hall in the Music and Communication Building on the northwest corner of Euclid Ave. and East 21st Street. Parking is available in the adjacent lot on East 21st Street between Euclid and Chester avenues. This concert is free and open to the public.

Elizabeth Unis Chesko, assistant professor of voice at CSU and director of Opera la Carte, has chosen selections from many operas and musicals, including Dido and Aeneas, The Coronation of Poppea, The Marriage of Figaro, The Magic Flute, Don Pasquale, Madame Butterfly Pirates of Penzance, The Phantom of the Opera, Evita, La Bohm and La Traviata.
