Parents Information

What information about my student do I have access to?

What is directory information?

What if Iím told that my student has requested that all information be withheld?

Students may choose to restrict their directory information at the time of application or at any other time while the student is attending CSU.† The only way that CSU will be authorized to release ANY information is if the student requests in writing that the restriction be lifted.†

How does FERPA affect parents?

By law, CSU is not able to release any information other than directory information to anyone other than the student.† For more information on FERPA regulations please visit†

How will this affect my ability to pay my studentís bill or access my studentís grades?

Your studentís information can be found online through CampusNet.† Parents may access their studentís CampusNet account the same way a student would.
