Families give $2.3 million to create CSU program for foster care youth

Jenniffer and Daryl Deckard help raise foster kids. Barbara and Frank Sullivan support Fill This House, a group that aids newly emancipated young adults. Together, their inspired and combined gift provides scholarships, support and a new path to success for young adults aging out of foster care.

Endowed professorship advances environmental and energy law

A $500,000 gift from Steven (JD '79) and Polly Percy to CSU's Cleveland-Marshall College of Law will create a professorship to support environmental or energy law. Percy is former chairman and CEO of BP America, Inc. Read more

Valedictorian Adam Davenport is remaking a Cleveland neighborhood

The December Levin College grad heads up a plan to bring sustainable urban living to the Detroit Shoreway neighborhood. Read more



K-9 Rex supports campus safety

Meet Rex, newest member of our campus safety team! The 15-month old German Shepard was provided to CSU by the Ohio Department of Public Safety, which supplied canines to several other Ohio colleges recently. Learn more about Rex and his new job.


Engineering "elves" adapt toys for kids of all abilities

Imagine the joy a child with physical challenges feels when he can play with toys like any child. Washkewicz College of Engineering students, faculty and alumni hosted their annual toy modification workshop to benefit local children, held in conjunction with RePlay for Kids, a nonprofit group that repairs and modifies toys. Share their story.

Like us on Facebook and enter our ticket lottery for a chance to purchase seats for the Cavs vs. Miami Heat game. Tickets cost $81 and are in section 214, which includes the all-you-can-eat buffet (hot dogs, nachos, cookies, water and soda). There are only 20 sets of tickets available to alumni for this game.

CSU hosts marathon
Runners line up in front of the Corlett Building on Euclid Avenue for the start of the 1982 Revco Cleveland Marathon. CSU was the host site for the Revco Cleveland Marathon and CVS Cleveland Marathon from 1978 to 2002. The event was ranked as one of top 25 road races in the country.
