CSU launches $100 million fundraising campaign

Engage: The Campaign for Cleveland State University will significantly increase available funds for needed scholarships and programs that help students succeed. It is the first-ever fundraising effort of its kind for the University. The campaign kickoff came at Radiance, CSU's signature event in support of student scholarships, and was coupled with the annoucement of a $5 million gift from CSU alumnus Donald Washkewicz and his wife, Pam.

We dreamed big, but never imagined the level of enthusiastic response. Keynote speaker Connie Schultz said, "Sometimes the best definition of Be Amazing is that we don't give up, and that's enough. Flying Circus of Physics video series debuts

World-famous Professor Jearl Walker will plunge his hand into a saucepan of molten lead if it means he'll excite his students to the wonders of physics. Now, a new CSU video series will follow him as he, in pure Jearl Walkerian fashion, proves that indeed, "physics is everywhere." Watch the first episode.

We've planned a few outings that won't break the bank and that we're sure you and your kids will love. Our first family-friendly outing will be aboard the Goodtime III for a two-hour narrated tour of Lake Erie and the Cuyahogo River.

Meet the Woodling of Woodling Gym and the Busbey of Busbey Natatorium

When CSU dedicated the Physical Education Building in 1973, the gymnasium was named for Homer Woodling (right), former athletic director of Fenn College and CSU. Here former CSU Athletic Director Robert Busbey (left) shows him the plaque.
