Be Amazing: Celebrate women's leadership on April 15

Our first Women's Leadership Symposium is a call to explore women's ways of leadership while building powerful partnerships between students and leading women in Northeast Ohio. Join us for breakfast and a morning of learning, sharing and possibilities. Panelists include accomplished alumnae like Kelly Falcone-Hall, President and CEO of Western Reserve Historical Society, plus students and young alumnae you will want to meet. Keynote speaker is Connie Schultz, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and contributor to the New York Times and ESPN Magazine. Registration is free..

Giving Day

Giving Day soars to new record

With $36,507 raised in 24 hours, we crushed last year's inaugural Giving Day of $23,000. Students, alumni, CSU leaders and Magnus kept Viking pride going strong with videos, tweets and more. The bar is set for next year!

CSU's silver Addy Awards

Fellow Vikings are making us proud

The Student Alumni Association and Presidential Student Ambassadors swept the Outstanding Student Leader (Andrew Dickson) and Outstanding Organization district awards from CASE, the Council for Advancement and Support of Education.

Recent grads from the Levin College of Urban Affairs won the National Student Award from the American Institute of Certified Planners for their project: "Irishtown Greenway: A Strategic Plan for the Flats West Bank."

The Cleveland chapter of the American Advertising Federation honored CSU with a Silver Addy Award for creatively marketing CSU's 50th Anniversary.

GE gives $500,000 gift

Alumni leaders at GE establish $500,000 gift

The gift will provide 50 full-tuition scholarships for students pursuing a science, technology, engineering or math major at CSU. Alumna Maryrose Sylvester, President & CEO of GE Lighting, notes how the gift extends GE's commitment toward CSU and CMSD's MC²STEM High School on campus. Read more.
